This release introduces support for IBM DB2/LUW 9.7 and later.

All main packet types are supported, and all the usual facilities are provided:

• full support for SSL connections to the clients and to the server, including client SSL authentication

• request filters for queries and prepared statements (prepared statement filter is only available in the Professional edition)

• response filters for result sets

• all DB2 data types are supported, including XML, blobs/clobs/dbclobs, binary decimals, graphic and multi-byte strings, and UDTs
