ParameterDescription packet

This packet is sent by the server to describe a prepared statement parameter.

It contains a list of MappingPoolEntry objects, which have the following properties:

• baseObjectID (int): the ID of the base type

• dataTypeName (string): the name of the data type

It also contains a list of ParameterEntry objects, which have the following properties:

• useMappingPool (boolean): if true, this parameter uses the mapping pool

• objectID (int): the data type, or the index into the mapping pool if useMappingPool is true

• typeModifier (int): the parameter type modifier

• notNull (boolean): true if this parameter cannot be null

Properties

• mappingPool (List<MappingPoolEntry>): the mapping pool

• parameters (List<ParameterEntry>): the definition of the parameters
